Interphone is working with Amazon to provide and install Amazon Key for Business in qualified multi-dwelling units (MDUs) within the commercial residential marketplace.
Key for Business is a more convenient, efficient way for residential properties to receive Amazon packages. It eliminates the need for building staff to buzz in Amazon drivers and manage deliveries, and gives residents the ability to receive packages safely, whether they’re home or away.
Key for Business benefits:
• Streamlined, more efficient Amazon deliveries
• Multi-factor authentication for increased package and building security
• Resident convenience
• Reduction in the number of redeliveries
• Increased delivery accuracy
• Free device, installation and maintenance
How It Works
Interphone installs the Key for Business device, which seamlessly integrates with a building’s existing access control system with the Amazon delivery app. Once installed, Amazon drivers simply press the Key for Business button in the delivery app to gain authorised, time-limited building entry and make deliveries. Building and concierge staff are able to spend less time buzzing in drivers and managing packages, while residents enjoy convenient, on-time, and more secure deliveries.
Operational Efficiencies
With Amazon drivers operating seven days a week, Key for Business can help you save both time and money by eliminating the need for onsite staff to handle incoming deliveries.
Enhanced Security
Key for Business offers increased building and package security, thanks to multi-factor authentication that ensures drivers are verified in real-time via the cloud and can only access your property when delivering an Amazon order for that address. Three criteria must be met for a driver to gain access: the driver must be physically onsite (live geolocation tracking), have a package for that address on their vehicle, and be within a specified delivery time window.
Free of Charge
The Key for Business device, installation, and maintenance are available free of charge for qualified multi-dwelling units (MDU) with eight flats or more. Service is provided by Interphone’s field-based engineering team that operates across London, the Home Counties, and the southeast of England. Our experienced engineers possess all the necessary qualifications, accreditations, and training to operate safely and legally, whilst delivering the highest levels of service.
