Interphone supports crohn’s and colitis uk event

Interphone will be supporting a charity event in aid of Crohn’s and Colitis UK on 19th June at Newland Manor, close to Chalfont St Giles in Buckinghamshire. The function will increase awareness of the incurable bowel conditions that affect 300,000 people in the UK as well as raise much needed funds for the charity.

The event is being organsised by Tej Thakkar, a 16 year old schoolboy who has been battling Crohn’s disease for the past 15 months. It will be attended by more than 400 guests including the medical team at St Marks hospital, the CEO of Crohns and Colitis UK, and the Headmaster and Governors of Merchant  Taylors’  School in Northwood, North West London. The evening will comprise of a three course meal, fashion show by leading Indian designer Nicky B, magic show, raffle, auction and DJ.

Tej is one of many young people across the UK that are affected by these incurable conditions, so we are pleased to be able to help raise valuable funds for the continued provision of essential support services and research into better treatments.”
